Replacement Pin Box For Lippert Turning Point Pin Box On a 2018 Grand Design 150 230RL 5TH Wheel

Question:

I need to replace my pin box. This is on a 2018 grand design 150, 230RL and I tow with a 2109 Chevy Silverado 4500HD, yes a 4500HD. Recently came home from a trip, and according to my home security footage Sun 7/22/2023 at 0803 hrs., the king pin just fell out of the pin box! I would like some assistance with a replacement and or an upgrade pin box. Serial number of the current pin box S001473047, no part number located on this. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

As you have a Lippert Tuning Point pin box the only replacement we have is the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY48GR. This converts your 5th wheel to a gooseneck ball connection so you will need a gooseneck ball in your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 4500 rather than a 5th wheel hitch. If you wish to keep your 5th wheel hitch you will need to get a new box from Lippert.
