Function of 12V Power Wiring for 17" and 21" Tall Furrion 2-in-1 Range Oven Front Panel Module

Question:

Is the 12v for this furrion control panel module strictly for the led knobs to illuminate blue or red? If I disconnect 12v. Will the stove and oven function as normal?

According to my research, the 12V power function for the Replacement Front Panel Module for 17" and 21" Tall Furrion 2-in-1 Range Ovens # FR83RV is for the control knobs as well as the light inside the unit. It shouldn't be necessary to connect the 12V power but I always recommend installing products completely.

It's easy to say you don't need that inner light but it will be much easier to route and install the 12V power wiring now before the unit is fully installed rather than decide you'd like that feature at a later time and then have to pull everything out just to connect 2 wires.
