What wiring harness do I need for a 2021 Land Rover defender 90 with a factory tow package?

According to my research you'll have a factory connector on your 2021 Land Rover Defender but there aren't any custom wiring adapters to fit exactly with it so to install the Prodigy P3 # 90195 controller you'll need to test the pins on your factory connector and then splice the Prodigy pigtail wiring to the following functions on your vehicle:

Blue - 7-Way Output to Trailer
Black - 12V Power
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed)

If you don't already have the P3 and you're looking for a simple installation that doesn't have you splicing wires on your vehicle I recommend checking out the Curt Echo In-Line Wireless Brake Controller # C79DR instead. This tees in behind the 7-Way at the back of your vehicle and the module installs under your vehicle. You'll then use the app on your phone to monitor and adjust the trailer brake settings.
