Shock Absorbing and Adjustable Ball Mount for a Cruisemaster DO35 Coupler

Question:

Currently using a regular 2 inch basic curt hitch with my DO35 for a 4200lb off-road trailer. Seeing if this would be worth an upgrade or just save my money. Towing with 2021 Jeep Gladiator towing an OPUS OP2 trailer. Currently my truck keeps the hitch slightly above what would be level. Will this work with a DO35 hitch from cruise master?

You will want to keep the hitch height on your 2021 Jeep Gladiator within 3 inches of the coupler height of your OPUS OP2 trailer. The Gen-Y Glyder Shock Absorbing Ball Mount for 2" Hitches item # 325-GH-12005 will provide you with up to 6" of drop. The Cruisemaster DO35 requires a ball mount platform with a 1 inch diameter ball hole. The Gen-Y will work with your coupler.
