I would be happy to help. I checked with our vendors and the only hitch available for a 2022 Subaru WRX is the Draw-Tite Hitch item # 76271. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Subaru with included hardware.
If splicing is a no go for you, I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 119250KIT. This is also a universal wiring harness but it uses clamps to receive the signal from your wires without cutting into them.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case. Since you're driving a WRX you will want to flip the ball mount upside down and install the hitch ball in the rise position. The Curt logo will be facing down.
I am sorry but I checked on all of our parts page and we haven't had a chance to get a WRX in the shop so I do not have any videos for you. I have linked all of the installation instructions below so hopefully those help.
