Is There Drilling Needed to Install Hitch on 2023 Subaru WRX
Updated 06/13/2023 | Published 06/12/2023 >
Question:
It says its compatible with the 2023 wrx. Is there any way to confirm ground clearance once installed, and how much further it comes out relative to the bumper? Any more information on what specific drilling will be required for the install?

The Draw Tite hitch # 76271 definitely does fit your 2023 Subaru WRX and when we installed it we found that the distance from the bottom of the hitch to the ground measured right at 11-1/2 inches. From the center of it's hitch pin to the furthest point out on the rear bumper measures 5-1/2 inches. There will be two holes that will need to be drilled on the chassis of the vehicle. You can see where exactly in the attached install instructions and install video.
