Missing Key Shield Replacement for Thule Force L Cargo Box 628

Hi My neighbor was throwing away a car carrier that had a thule stickers on it. I couldnt find a serial number inside that was etched in. It had a couple white stickers. Raceability Label 4/5/18 DSS1 ART#8528322001 Serial number 5/16/18 INTLSMF S1 part #628 and Line #1 It didnt have lock in it. I ordered the thule universal replacement lock/key but the lock will not fit. Is there another lock mechanism to try. thank you for your help. I have included some photos of where the lock goes.

That was an expensive cargo box at one point. It is a Thule Force Large cargo box part number 628. What yours is missing is the key shield part # 05771 which you would need to install the Thule lock set that you tried already # TH450200.
