Updated 08/13/2024 | Published 07/29/2024 >
Question:
Hello, I have a home made trailer that Im trying to figure out what axles or what hubs it has so I can buy replacement hubs/bearings. I have photos of axles and hubs but there are no markers or indicators in the axle itself. I can send photos once you reply. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out, Chris. The best way for you to determine what hubs and bearings you will need is to remove a hub and unpack the bearings. Each bearing should have a number stamped on the edge, or you can measure the OD of each bearing with a caliper. Also measure the seal and bolt pattern for the hub. I am happy to look at pictures if you want to email them to me, but there is really no way for me to tell you what bearings you need by looking at a picture. Especially since the trailer is homemade. If you can tell me your inner and outer bearing sizes and your hub bolt pattern I can definitely see if we have anything for you.

Jesse finally got a chance to get these hubs off and check the bearings. I believe the inner bearing is L68149 and outer is L44649. My current hubs are 5x5.5 and I want to convert to 5x4.5 if possible. Thanks.
