Question:
I am interested in the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit Item # 119250KIT for a 2022 Audi Q7 as well as the trailer package. I installed wiring and trailer package a few years ago I got from you for my 2013 Q7. The video recommends a professional install if you have the 48 volt system. Can you tell me if this is the proper kit and if anything is different in installing it with the 48 volt versus the 12 volt? Is there a video for a 48 volt install? Any info is appreciated.

The simple answer to your question is yes, your 2022 Audi Q7 with the mild hybrid 48 volt battery can still use the ZCI kit:

I believe our installer says to have a professional install the # 119250KIT on a Q7 with the 48 volt system because these vehicles have both a 48 volt battery and 12 volt battery, and you don't want to get them confused. The standard 12 volt battery is what you need to use to power the system and the additional 48 volt that is used in the mild hybrid should be avoided.
We do not have a video for installing his kit on a 48 volt, which is why going to a professional is a good idea, just to ensure there is no mix up. So I do recommend heeding that advice, though if you are someone who enjoys DIY the trailer hitch that fits your Q7 is much more manageable to install; that hitch is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13277.
