Is Original Remote Needed When Programming Bedlocker Remote Replacement

Do you need to have the original remote to be able to program the replacement remote PE33QJ? If it’s lost is there a different set of directions to follow to program it?

You do not need the original remote to program the replacement remote part # PE33QJ. You need to disconnect power to the Bedlocker unit. Reconnect the power and immediately push the open button on the remotes you want to program (I think this is the confusing part), and then wait 15 seconds after pushing the buttons and try to operate the unit.
In the instructions it says "remotes" but that means just the remotes you are programming and not requiring the original programming.
