Can A Vent Cover Accommodate A Vent Lid That Extends Up 14"

Question:

My vent is 14inch tall when fully open. Do you make a cover that tall?

Covers like the Dometic Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover # DMC38FR you were looking at prevent vents from fully opening but come with a statement from the manufacturers that it's totally fine and that the vent still performs as it should even if it's only opening 80-85% of the way. Why they don't just make the vent covers slightly taller is beyond me but it's completely normal that it doesn't allow for them to fully open.

If that's acceptable for you then you can technically use whichever brand cover you want since they all come with mounting brackets. It's best to stick with the same brand to make mounting easier since most covers come with easy attachment clips for their specific brand vents. If you can tell me the brand/model of your vent I'd be happy to look for the easiest to install cover for you.
