Question:
I have a 2017 Winnebago View model 24G with two slide outs and the full bed above the cab, 25’5” overall length on a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 on a 170” wheel base with Aluminum wheels. I tow a small Towblazer trailer single track with a BMW scooter est. weight of 550 lbs total, Tongue weight of 100 lbs we also use a 10” Reese hitch that also has a Thule bike rack with two bikes. The rack and Reese add another 200 lbs to hitch for total weight on hitch of 300 lbs+. The vehicle has 23,000 miles now. I’m trying to get rid of the top heavy feeling rocking and some better highway stability. I have the tools and mechanic aptitude to perform most of the tasks myself. I was originally thinking of a Hellwig sway bar as it is a straight forward swap but was curious about the Roadmaster bar choices of replacement rear bar or the added sway bar in front of axle more complex install and modifications to exhaust, mine is side exit. Add sway bar with the Sumo Springs on front and rear did not know what Sumo was best for my application and possibly Bilstien shocks rear only. I don’t want to give up on a smooth ride as my better half sits in back dining table and watches in-track satellite dish TV while driving. Yet her biggest complaint is the rocking and cross winds causing vehicle to wander. Please tell me what you recommend in order of importance, I have scheduled for time off in August to perform work. thank you

Adding the additional rear Sway Bar # RM-1209-131 is going to provide you with more stability over just replacing the factory bar with the Sway Bar # RM-1209-120 on your 2017 Winnebago View 24G. Combining both of the bars with the Front # SSF-106-47 and Rear # SSR-338-54 SumoSprings will greatly increase the overall stability of your Winnebago and cut down on the body roll.
