Question:

The backup battery on my trailer says FM1250 12v 5.0ah/20hr. Will any 12v backup battery work or do I need something specific? Thanks in advance

You will want to replace your backup battery with another 1250 5 amp/hr battery. This will ensure you get the correct size to fit inside your battery case. We currently have the 3 options.
