Thanks Kevin. Actually, my needs have changed, and a 3/8" thick mat will suffice after all. I'm not a fan of the bedrug. Which 3/8" rubber mat do you recommend? I have a 6 1/2' bed. I have another need for this truck. I need a front receiver hitch. I reviewed the video on your site for the installation of same on a 2020 Chev 2500. I know there were changes on this truck in 2021, but hopefully most of this video will be similar for my 2022 1500. Please enlighten me if you have a video for my truck for this. Also, I have a front receiver on my 2004 Ford F150 that I purchased from you. Will this receiver fit my 2022 Chev 1500? Thanks much for your assistance. I'll proceed with an order as soon as I get your reply.?

For the mat I recommend the Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat # W35XV. This custom-fit mat is 3/8" thick and we even have a short review video of it in a similar 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 so that you can see how it fits. The rubber will help provide traction to prevent your in-bed camper from sliding around.

The front mounted hitches that fit a 2004 Ford F-150 are not compatible with a 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 so you would instead need the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22NR. Unfortunately at this time we do not currently have an installation video for this hitch.
