Question:

I have a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country, and the bed came with ChevyTec Spray-On Bedliner. Would this mat work? I see it says bare metal bed. If this one does not work, do you have a suggestion on what might?

Hey David, congrats on the new truck! I've got another option but the DeeZee item # DZ36GJ isn't going to work with a spray-in bed liner. The textured surface of the spray-ins causes the mat to slide around and moisture, along with debris gets trapped underneath them. This voids the warranty protections because it causes the DeeZee mats to deteriorate from the bottom.

For your 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country, I recommend the Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat item # W55XV for a 5-3/4' bed or item # W35XV for a 6-1/2' bed. Like the DeeZee these are also 3/8" rubber mats. They have a ribbed, non-slip surface that is custom fit for your truck bed.

How long is the bed in your new Silverado and what kind of gear do you plan on throwing in the back?

Thanks Jered!, for the recommendation. The truck is a replacement for a mid-size pickup that we had purchased a bed mat for, so familiar with the benefits. I have the Crew Cab with the 5 3:4’ bed and ordered the W55XV. Should be getting it in a few days. We use the truck for a variety of things including towing our trailer and loading the bed with camping get, like a generator, kayaks, BBQ, spare LPG tank, solar panel, etc…. We strap in the heavier items, but nice the other loose items stay in place.

@David You're welcome! Yeah that's a huge problem with those spray-in liners. No matter what you put back there it slides all over the place unless you strap everything down. That's great to hear. Let me know if you have any questions on the item # W55XV or anything else down the road.
