The Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter - Roof Mount - 12' 3" Long x 8' Wide # TH64WJ you mention is actually meant to be mounted on the roof and won't work the way you're wanting to use it.
Instead, you'd want the Thule HideAway Awning - Wall Mount - Waterproof # TH490011 which is would be mounted to the side wall of your enclosed trailer.
This is the exact same style awning as # TH64WJ, the only difference being it is a bit smaller measuring in at 9'10" long and 8' wide.
