Will 95" Hub Face Axle e52SR Work in Place of 93-1/2" Hub Face Axle
Updated 05/30/2023 | Published 05/26/2023 >
Question:
A spindle on my axle broke the threads. I can’t find anyone that will replace the spindle only. So I guess I need a new axle. I measured the hub face at 93.5” and spring center at 80”. I can’t find an axle that is 93.5/80”. I can only find 95/80”. Would a 95/80 work since the spring centers are the same?

The Trailer Axle with Electric Brakes part # e52SR has a 95" hub face to hub face measurement. If you currently have a 93-1/2" hub face to hub measurement then the axle is going to stick out 3/4" more per side. This likely won't create any issues but you'll want to measure first. The spring center measurement of 80" means the axle offers a bolt-on fit.
