Is the DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank and Connector Kit recommended for Gasoline as well as Diesel?

The Connector Kit for DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank part # DZ97960 can be used with diesel or gasoline but the actual tanks DeeZee offers are only made for diesel as there are different rules and regulations for transporting gasoline when compared to diesel.
