When the road gets bumpy, this 12" long equalizer keeps your tandem or triple-axle setup steady. It joins 2" wide slipper leaf springs and transfers impacts between axles so the load stays balanced and the trailer rides smoother. The equalizer suspends from a center hanger and allows movement at both ends—one spring rests on the keeper bolt while the other connects through the eye—so bumps are shared across both axles instead of hitting one hard.
This equalizer is sized right for 2" wide springs with 9/16" eyes. The center bolt hole measures 7/8" in diameter and already includes a metal bushing, so you can use a 7/8" bolt without adding another sleeve. Both side holes are 9/16" for the shackle and keeper bolts, giving you a precise fit and solid alignment through the suspension.
Moisture and road grime can eat away at unprotected metal. The durable zinc plating on this equalizer resists corrosion, making it a good choice for setups that see water or road salt. It’s especially well suited for boat or snowmobile trailers that need metal parts to stay strong and rust-free over time.
By letting both axles share the load, this equalizer helps the suspension absorb shocks more evenly. That reduces bounce, keeps gear inside the trailer from shifting, and makes towing feel more controlled.
