Does the # DZ97960 Automatically Shut Off When Full
Updated 02/22/2017 | Published 02/21/2017 >
Question:
My concern is what happens if I start the automatic feed and I do not have enough space in my OEM tank for all the fuel I am transferring. Is it possible to over fill the OEM tank allowing the fuel to escape from my tank spilling on the ground? This is what I think the person was asking when he asked about an automatic shutoff. Does the fuel just quit transferring once the OEM tank is full? Does the Connector Kit for DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank # DZ97960 Have Automatic Shutoff

Expert Reply:
The part # DZ97960 will not automatically shut off when the tank is full. You would need to keep an eye on the tanks as you are filling them if the pumps do not automatically shut off when they sense the tank being full.
Overfilling the tank would cause fuel to spill.
