I currently have a HalfBack bike rack. I was wondering if I could adapt the lock kit #8880572 to it.

We have the parts needed to add locks to your Yakima Halfback but it's not with the part number you mentioned. Instead you would need the following:

- Security Strap for Yakima Trunk Mounted Bike Carrier # Y02623
- Yakima Cable Lock # Y07233
- Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07202

The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier #TH898 is only compatible with the Yakima CoreBar crossbars if you also use the mounting kit #TH7520970001. Just be sure that you have the proper clearance (4" - 8" beyond the feet) for this to work…
