This locking cable kit replaces the endcap on one arm of your Yakima FullBack bike rack with this cable lock to keep your bikes secure. SKS lock core lets you secure the cable lock to the rack arm. Cable retracts into arm for storage.

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we have a Yakima Fullback, and we're going to be replacing the cable lock on the bike rack. This is going to be for the two and the three bike version. What we're going to get is basically this whole entire assembly, all spare parts. What we're going to do is remove this first. So, we're going to put everything down, to take a flathead screwdriver.
We're going to just put it in here and lift up, and we want to go ahead and pull this out and then, go ahead and rotate this a little bit to get it undone, and we can remove the old lock from cable.The only thing we're going to reuse is this little tube here. What we want to do is take our new assembly, take our little cap here and feed that in like that, take our little white tube, push it in like that, we're going to go all the way in. We want to make sure that the white tube is going to be far enough in there to where we can replace the little fastener, get that put on, make sure it's nice and snug like that. Once that's lined up, we're going to take our spare piece and put it through.You got to get it perfectly lined up for it to work. You might have to shift it around like that.
And we can take our new little pin, align that with the little groove, get it somewhat on there and we are going to need a little bit of torque, get this down, got to use the bottom and clip it into place. And that is it. As you can see, we replaced every single component of the locking cable, and the nice thing about it is we get keys with our kit, so whether it's looking a little ratty over time, or maybe the cable is giving you a little bit of trouble, this is going to replace everything, so it's going to be just like new.
