Question:

I have a new 2023 Tuscon and I need a hitch for it. I am looking at your etrailer brand but I also see a curt that looks the same but costs a little less. Which one do you recommend?

Congrats on the new vehicle! Both the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C94WR and the etrailer Hitch item # e38KR are confirmed to fit the 2023 Hyundai Tucson. The reason these hitches look so similar is they are made by the same vendor. The etrailer hitch has a different matte coating that tends to blend in better beneath vehicles than the glossy finish Curt hitches have.

I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C94WR because right now it costs less. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Tucson with included hardware. I really like this hitch because the cross tube installs behind your rear bumper cover. This leaves only the 2" x 2" receiver visible.

I have attached a couple of pictures below so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 119250KIT and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
