Will BAK Revolver X4s Work on 2017 Ford F-350 8' Bed with Steel Ramp Plate on Tailgate

Question:

I have a 2017 Ford F350 dually with an 8 foot bed. This truck is equipped with the Ford factory optional ramps. Part of this option is a backing plate installed to the inside of the tail gate. this backing plate has a metal roll at the top of the tail gate on which the ramps are attached while in use. Will the BAK Revolver X4S clear this backing plate when properly installed, closed, and sealing against the tail gate? Thanks! Ive included photos, but... the backing plate roll is below the top of the tail gate, extends 3/4inch into the bed from the back of the tail gate, and is 2 3/8inch from the side rail to each end of the backing place roll.

In order to use the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK49ZR on a 2017 Ford F-350 with 8' Bed we would have to recommend you remove the ramp plate. Unfortunately, neither we nor Bak has tested this cover with the ramp plate. It's possible you can nudge the cover more towards the cab for clearance but this also means there could be a gap to let water in.
