Question:

Looking for a complete tow package for 2022 Subaru Ascent. Want to tow something like Coachmen - Clipper Ultra-Lite 17BH with GVWR 3600 lbs and hitch weight of 406 lbs. I understand I can not use a weight distribution hitch? Please suggest parts including hitch, trailer brake controller and cables to connect to a 7 pin. Seems like Curt and etrailer hitch are about the same?

The parts you'd want to tow the Coachmen Clipper Ultra Lite with your 2022 Subaru Ascent would be the etrailer hitch part # e55ZR, then for trailer wiring you'd need the 7-way kit part # 118290.

Then for a brake controller the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 which is a wireless option that once synced to your smart phone is ready to tow once plugged into the 7-way.
