Question:
How does the DL25215 compare to the Fulton 10 XLT I currently have?
asked by: Glenn D
Expert Reply:
The Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25215 is comparable to your Fulton XLT 10, but there are a few differences. The main difference is the capacity. This winch is designed for boats up to 9,000 lbs vs the 10,000 lb capacity of the Fulton.
It has the same power in, power out, and free spool. It also features a dynamic motor brake, heat-treated gears, and precision needle bearings. The only other thing it is lacking is a remote. You will have to operate StrongArm using the switch on the winch itself. However, it is possible to add a remote with the # DL24054 if you really need one.
