Will Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver for 1977 Ford F-250 Work with 38 Gallon Tank

Question:

Will this fit my 77 Ford F250 2wd, 37inch frame with the replacement 38 gal gas tank? Although it looks like there would be plenty of room based on your customer pics for a 77 F150, the replacement of the original 19 gal tank required the removal of the spare tire so, just checking. Thanks!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15300 which is a fit for a 1977 Ford F-250 is designed for the factory gas tank. If you have an aftermarket gas tank then we would not be able to confirm fit but what I could do is provide you with the inner width of the hitch so you can measure to check compatibility. I have attached a photo below with the inner width which is listed at 33.312".
