Do you happen to know how well the Transfer V2 would play with the backup camera on a 2023 Mazda 3 sedan, when in the upinch position?

Seeing as how that camera is mounted right above the license plate of the 2023 Mazda 3 it is not going to work well with any bike rack. The Kuat Transfer V2 item # KU74FR will work better than most bike racks when folded up because of the large opening it has in the middle. However, I would have low expectations for visibility with a bike rack.
I have linked a picture below that will show you the large opening the V2 has in the folded position.
To mount the Kuat Transfer V2 item # KU74FR on your 2023 Mazda 3 sedan you will want the Draw-Tite Hitch item # 24982. This hitch is custom fit and the only option for adding a hitch to the sedan model of the 2023 Mazda 3. It has a class I 1-1/4" receiver with a 200 lbs tongue weight capacity so it will work great with the V2 Transfer.
