Question:
i’m looking at purchasing this Dexter BrakeRite II Electric over hydraulic 1500psi system your selling however as a previous owner of the BrakeRite SD EOH system possibly 2018 system, I had a control module was necessary for it to work on my 2016 ram 3500 which has the factory brake controller inside. If i purchase this new system do i have to buy the control module separately? and if so i need a link for that so i can see what all i need before purchasing. it was a beige box with 4 plugs that came out of it. thanks

Hi David; the Dexter BrakeRite II Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Kit # T4813102 should work as is for your 2016 Ram 3500. However, we have had some instances where Ram owners reported issues despite their factory brake controller being compatible with EOH setups. Since you had one in the past, I would expect to need the Adapter Module for BrakeRite Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # DX35FR which is available separately.

Hey David, how did things go with the BrakeRite II system on your Ram 3500? Did the adapter module end up being necessary for your setup? Your update could make it easier for other Ram owners using the same actuator.
