I’m trying to find out if this will work on a 2023 F250 with an 8’ bed. The truck does not have OE prep package. Thank you

The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ford # C79BR you were looking at are not a fit for your 2023 Ford F-250 with 8' bed and no OEM prep package.
I checked with the manufacturers and was not able to locate a custom 5th wheel installation kit that will work with your 2023 F-250. In order to install 5th wheel rails, you will need to use universal 5th wheel rails.
- Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit # C16100
The universal rails will provide you with the same industry standard mounting points as the custom. The main difference is the installation process. The universal rails are a little more difficult to install, but they will provide the same function.
