Question:
I want to mount a trailer tongue box yet to be purchased to my steel tailer frame. I was thinking stainless steel u-bolts I understand galvanic action and I can isolate the different metals with nylon spacers as I live on the Florida coast so I thought stainless versus galvanized would be a better choice but I could be wrong. I am familiar with galvanized near and on fresh water but unsure about say environment. I would also possibly need some stainless steel eye bolts to attach to the walls of the trailer itself to stabilize something tall but light stilling on top of the trailer box. Your thoughts and do you sell something you would recommend. I have purchased from etrailer several times in the past and you are my go to choice on thse matters.

Stainless steel fasteners are going to be a much better option for securing a Trailer Tongue Toolbox # 350970 to the front of your trailer. Galvanized are going to be able to wear through the coating and begin to corrode while stainless is throughout the bolt and will not corrode and rust away. We do have a Polyethylene Box # 3371701680 if you are wanting something lighter and not aluminum. This box only weighs 21lbs versus 37lbs for the aluminum above.
We do have the U-Bolt # CE15501A which is stainless steel and will allow you to fit a frame 2" wide and 3" tall to mount the toolboxes above.
