How do you recommend fastening this box to the a-frame of trailer?

There is no mounting hardware included with the Aluminum A-Frame Trailer Tongue Toolbox, item # 350970, due to the different construction and mounting locations that may be required for many different styles of trailers.
I would recommend using a properly sized drill bit to drill 4 mounting holes in the proper locations on your trailer frame. Keep the holes as far to the front, back and sides of the box as possible for the most secure connection. Then use bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts to secure the box to the frame. You could also use, properly sized, self tapping screws with washers and secure the box to the trailer frame in this fashion. Bolts, 3/8 inch size, should be sufficient to secure the box.

Just out of curiosity, does it matter what type of bolts are used to mount the aluminum tongue box to a steel trailer frame? Should they be galvanized as opposed to stainless steel or chrome? Should rubber washers be used between aluminum and steel parts, or does it really matter?Thank you!
