Can A Bulb Seal Be Used Between A Class C Motorhome Body And Cab For Waterproofing

Question:

I need to add weatherproofing material on my class C motorhome- at the seam where overhead sleeper meets the van chassis cab to keep out water intrusions, drafts, ext. - Wonder is this product might fit/compress into that gap, also as a ford E-450 van - is 10 feet is ample ?

A bulb seal like part # SR46ZR could definitely help prevent water intrusion but it'd be easier to determine if this specific seal would be the best option for the space if I could see exactly where you're wanting to install it. This seal is an 1" tall and 7/8" wide with a stick on installation style and is typically used for moving components like a slide out so that when the box comes back in and compresses the seal there's no opportunity for water to get in.
