Can Wet Bolts Be Used with Lipper Road Armor Equalizer Kit

Question:
My keystone trailer came with factory installed lippert road armor, but they used dry bolts. Is there a version of the equalizer that has plastic bushings? Or is this just a bad install?

You can use standard bolts or wet bolts when installing the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit, like part # LC696740. Standard bolts require you to remove them while wet bolts allow you to pump grease through them. The Road Armor kit comes with bronze bushings so it looks like everything is normal for your installation.
To upgrade to wet bolts you just need a kit like the Lippert AP Kit # LC52SV you were looking at. As long as your current shackle straps measure 3-1/8" from center bolt hole to center bolt hole you'll be good to go!
If you have different shackle strap measurement please let me know and I can help you find a different solution.
