Does The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C98DR for 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Reduce Ground Clearance?

How much does this hitch impact the ground clearance? Looks like it would take at least 3 inches off.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C98DR for your 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 will not reduce your ground clearance since it sits higher than the axle components on your Hyundai. It will affect your departure angle due to hanging below the rear bumper. This may be noticible on driveways which have a steep angle from the street. I have included an image below sent in with a review showing how the receiver sits above the rear axle so you will not have to be concerned with ground clearance being lower. As we have not installed this on a vehicle in our shop we have not been able to measure where it will sit exactly in relation to the rear bumper after installation.
