We just purchased a 2023 Jayco Eagle and are planning to order the Demco Autoslide 18K. Our tow vehicle is a 2016 Ford F-250. The pin box is a Rhino Box. Do I need to purchase an autoslide locking plate for this pin box?

Congrats on the new trailer! Yes, you will need a locking plate to use the Demco Autoslide item # DM8550024 with a Rhino Pin Box. You will want the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Locking Plate for Lippert Rhino Pin Boxes item # DM76FR.

The Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider item # DM8550024 you were looking at has an 18,000 lbs capacity and has legs that fit inside the Ford factory puck system. So if your 2016 F-250 has the factory puck system you will be ready to go.
