Question:

2023 Salem Hemisphere 36FL. Tow vehicle: 2024 F350 Short Bed with Demco Autoslide. Is the plate strong enough to use with the Demco Autoslide and be able to keep the side to side secure with the capture brackets?

To verify the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM8550024 will work correctly with your 2023 Forest River Salem Hemisphere 36FL I need to know what pin box you have. Some pin boxes like the Lippert Rhino will require a Locking Plate # DM76FR. That and the MORryde Locking Plate # DM6025 are some of the more common pin boxes that require a locking plate. If you are unsure of what you have you can take a picture of it and measurements of the box which I can use to verify the pin box.

RV manufacturers do not always use the same pin box on every model which is why we need to verify your exact pin box.
