I have a customer with a 2017 Ford expedition with a factory brake controller that is not working. What are our options to easily replace that?

Expert Reply:
The integrated brake controller should have a harness that comes out of the back of it that you can trace down to where it plugs into the vehicle's brake controller install port. If you unplug that you can plug in an aftermarket harness like the Redarc # 331-TPH-007 which would let you install the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR which performs really well and unlike most brake controllers only puts a small knob on the dash so it's pretty similar to the integrated style of controller your customer has now.
