Question:

Hi there, I have a NASH 17K gtravel trailer, and need to replace the existing stabilizers. The existing stabilizers are welded on, as theres a LP line running along/uner the frame. But that would not be the issue. the description tells me the stabilizers have an overall width of 20. The lift brackets that are installed already, are 17inch wide. Would that create a problem if these new one would be centered, and welded, on the existing brackets? It has to be welded, as, those brackets are solid square tubes. No holes to mount nuts and bolts. Thank you.

It looks like the trailer manufacturer created their own lift brackets to use with the older Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack. I'm sure you could reuse these by welding the new Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack part # LC298707 to them, even if there's some overhang, but a better option would be to remove what is on the trailer currently in its entirety and install the Double Spacer Kit for Lippert Power Stabilizer Jack part # LC673594 which don't require any welding and just simply bolt-on.
