Question:
Is the wall thickness the same on the Dexter 6000# axle and the 5200# Dexter axle? My main reason for going to 6000# from 5200# is to have a stronger tube so I dont need alignments every couple years. The 5200# axles from dexter seem a little soft.

The 5,200 lbs Dexter Axle item # 8327816 has a thickness of .18"
The thickness of the axle won't affect you needing an alignment, unless you're bending the axles by overloading the trailer. You will want to focus more on your suspension components if you are having issues with alignment.
