Question:
Hello looking for EQ anti sway hitch. I have 2008 Ford F150 V8 Triton 5.4 Supercab 4x4 6.5 bed. Just bought a Nash FM18 weights just under 6,000 lbs. Can you please help me in selecting the correct piece of equipment. Than you

From what I can find a Northwood Nash 18FM has a GVWR of 7,400 lbs, which will put your loaded tongue weight in the range of 900 lbs, and the correct Equal-i-zer for that tongue weight is the following:
- Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37120ET
The # EQ37120ET is for total tongue weights (the tongue weight of your loaded trailer plus any weight behind the rear axle of your truck) between 800 lbs and 1,200 lbs, which you'll fall right in the middle of. You made a really nice choice going with Equal-i-zer as it will give you high-level performance. Our customers who have used the hitch regard it very highly, with hundreds of ratings (thus far) giving it a rating very close to 5 out of 5 stars.
The reason for that is because of its 4 points of sway control via friction in the spring bars at both the brackets and the head unit where the arms insert. This is double the amount of sway control compared to most systems, and ensures there is a consistent amount of force enable in the hitch to continually combat heavy sway.
Additionally, this system comes with everything you need for installation, including the shank and hitch ball, though it is highly recommended you use thin-walled socket # ALL643216 to help install the hitch ball.
