Hitch that Fits 2016 and 2016.5 Mazda CX-5

Question:
Hello, I’d like to buy a trailer hitch for my 2016 Mazda CX-5, but I’m not sure if it’s the mid year model or prior? How can I tell?

The great news is that it really doesn't matter...our hitches like the etrailer part # e98902 fit both the mid year update as well as the original version of the 2016 Mazda CX-5. The only way to determine which version you have would be to give your VIN to a Mazda dealer but it's not something you need to worry about to pick out a hitch.
