Question:
Hello, 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500 LT diesel. Have a Northwood 890 camper and plan to tow also. at this time a 6X12 cargo trailer How to determine the correct extension size? Require any specialty tools? Possible to see instructions prior to purchase? Would like to install myself and would like to see if I have everything necessary for the install. Thank you.

It sounds like you want to install the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum # TL74FR on your 2023 Silverado 3500 and then add a TorkLift extension. Regarding the installation of the hitch, standard tools along with a floor jack and torque wrench capable of 140 ft-lbs will allow you to perform the installation. Since the instructions aren't available online I will send them separately in an email.
The extension length will depend on how far your Wolf Creek 890 extends beyond the back of your truck. With the camper mounted in the truck, measure from the face of the truck's rear bumper to the outside edge of the camper's bumper. This is the length of the extension that you need.
For example, if you find that this distance is 36" you can use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1536. This is a 36" extension. The weight capacity of the extensions does vary, so you want to make sure you need to make sure you aren't over the capacity depending on which one you pick. This particular extension has a max trailer weight of 6,500 lbs and tongue weight of 650 lbs. They can all be increased with the addition of a weight distribution hitch.
I have attached some review videos along with a link to all of the TorkLift extensions that fit the SuperHitch Magnum for your reference.
