I have a couple options for you as the Curt Friction Sway Control # 17200 is not compatible with a straight pole tongue trailer. First is adding a Pole-Tongue Adapter # EQ95-01-5950 which will allow you to use a Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800. This hitch has sway control built in to reduce trailer sway. The Fastway is rated for trailers with a tongue weight of 400-800lbs and a total trailer weight under 8,000lbs. If your trailer does not fall into this weight please let me know your trailer tongue weight and GVWR so I can help you find the correct hitch.

The second option is if you have a trailer with electric brakes. Then you will be able to use the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000. This system uses the trailer brakes to stop the trailer from swaying when it detects side to side movement.
