Can I mount a 40-0185 2006 Chevy Suburban on a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500? If so, what mounting kit will be required? Thanks.

I went ahead and checked, and the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard # 40-0185 you mentioned is actually only going to be a fit for the 2006 Chevrolet Suburban 1500, and will not work on the 2006 GMC Sierra 1500.
Since these grille guards are going to be vehicle and model specific there is little interchangeability if any.
Instead, you're going to need an entirely different grille guard. For the same Westin Sportsman grille guard, you can use the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard # 40-1225, which includes the mounting hardware # 40-122PK needed for installation.
