Can The Channel Bolts On The Buyers Products Coupler Be Swapped With Pin And Clips

Was wondering if you may be able to answer a question for me. I have a dump trailer that has the adjustable hitch on it and on the adjustable hitches they use pins to hold the ball in place as the desired height. My question is can that same thing be done with the adjustable hitch on the trailer rather than the bolts? Thanks

The Buyers Products Coupler w/ 5-Position Adjustable Channel # 3370091545 you were looking at uses 5/8" diameter bolts so you could swap it out with another 5/8" diameter pin and clip like the # 325-GH-096.
