Availability of Wiring Kit for Superwinch S5500 Trailer Winch

I have a 2022 Chevy 2500hd truck and i need to wire up a trailer mounted superwinch s5500, What size wire do I need to run from the battery to the rear of the truck and do you have a kit for this? Also will the kits quick connect hook up to the quick connect already installed on the superwinch s5500? Thanks

Superwinch does make a wiring kit for your # SW1455201. The Superwinch Front Wiring Kit # SW69GR uses 2 gauge wire and has a quick disconnect to match the one you have. However, this is only 5' long so you will need additional 2 gauge wire to complete the installation.

The only kit that comes with enough wire is the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit # BDW20206 (20' long) or # BDW20207 (24' Long). It looks like the length of the 2022 Silverado 2500 ranges from 19' to 22' so you would need to choose based on your particular model and bed length. This would also likely require replacing the quick disconnect on your winch with the included one so they fit together properly.
