Question:
Hi and happy holidays/greetings! I recently purchased the tandem axle kit I did work with eTrailer team on the recommendation. I referenced having the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit - Double-Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 6,000 lbs ITEM # K71-652-00. My leaf springs have bronze bushings and I was wondering about the front and rear hangers for the front/rear leaf springs with the Dexter EZ Flex these hangers use wet bolts. The wet bolts do not reach with the correct track hanger/brackets and if using the correct track bolts with the bronze bushing should be OK or what specific grease should be used there silicone, etc. Moreover, I was wonder if there wre wet bolts that would fit allowing to continue grease the front/reack leaf spring bolts. Therefore, I was looking that these Replacement Shackle Link with Bolts for Dexter Trailer Suspension Kits Item # 018-026-0 actually fit when no plate do you have the bolts by themselves? For now, I think to use the correct track bolts but was wondeirng about durability and maintenance lubricant whehn using bronze bushing in the leaf springs. I look forward to your reply and have a ver merry Christmas!

It's perfectly fine to use the included bolts of the Correct Track Kit part # RR23QX with the bronze bushings of the leaf springs you have now. For a longer wet bolt in the length you are wanting you'd want the Replacement Wet Shoulder Bolt part # LC126238 which has a usable length of 2-1/4 inches.
LMX red grease like the part # L11390 would be the heaviest duty grease that would last the longest and provide best lubrication.
