Frozen Comp Error Troubleshooting Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System
Published 12/22/2022 >
Question:
I get this code on the remote, but the compressor runs for an extended time. Maybe 60-90 seconds then shuts off. Bags only have 15psi requested. Would low battery voltage cause this?

According to Air Lift, there are a few things that can cause the frozen comp error code issue. The problem is likely an air leak between the manifold and the compressor or simply a weak compressor that would need to be replaced.
To get the compressor running again so you can check for leaks, you can simply either undo your power and ground connection for 30 minutes or try pulling the fuse and resetting them. You can also clear the code from the app on your phone in Settings - Troubleshooting - View and Clear codes.
This should get the compressor running again so you can use some soapy water to check for leaks. If you find leaks, then simply tighten the fittings and that should solve your problem. If there are no leaks and you have the problem again, then you will need a new compressor. This kit has a 2 year warranty, but if you are outside of your warranty, then you will want to buy a new compressor which is # AL75FJ for the WirelessAIR # AL74000.
