Question:
I have a 2004 Chevy avalanche. What snow chains do you recommend for me to use? Also, should I put them on the front two tires or all four tires?

I recommend snow tire chains from Pewag for your 2004 Chevy Avalanche (snow chains should only go on two tires), with the correct part number depending on what size tires you have:
- 245/75-16: pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # PWSXV590
- 265/70-16: pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # PWSXV600
There are a number of reasons why these Pewag chains are going to be the best option, starting with the ease of use. Putting them on your tires only requires you to drape them over the top of your tires, pull forward a smidge, pull the rest of the chain over the tire and drive off. When you do they will tighten automatically, saving you from having to spend any more time than needed on the side of the road in the snow.
These are also diamond-pattern square links which means not only optimal coverage for your tires, but also the best overall traction in snow and grip on ice.
